TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
